DENISON – Small brewery operating out of old gutted structure in historic downtown. Nice, open, turn-of-the-century industrial space, little modern improvements or finishings beyond bathrooms and lighting. Cover band on a Saturday.
Brewing operations seem secondary to their Homestead Winery, open in adjoining space with a full tasting room/restaurant and two other separate tasting rooms in North Texas. (Name is derived from original winery just to the north in Ivanhoe, Texas.)
Beers were all too similar, possibly made with old ingredients and giving them a characteristic off-flavor. Nothing worth recommending.
