DENTON – The next in the ongoing series of rolling local releases from Toasty Bros, this one at East Side: Long Tacky Old Slacks Dark, a black kölsch-style ale.
The beer is dark brown but light bodied, dry, slightly bitter with an easy roast on the malt. A nice drinker but a stylistic blur, like a light porter or generic “black ale.”
