LEWISVILLE – Dark, roasty, slightly sweet (ABV 8.3%). Hints of oak and vanilla, clean, smooth flavors. Not quite a milk stout but sweeter than the norm.
Aged in Balcones Baby Blue Corn Whiskey barrels (hence the name). Inclusion of rice does lighten mouthfeel a bit, but not apparent in flavor. I like the rice addition, it improves the overall product.
